Pentwater Jr. Women’s Club is pleased to announce the recipients of their 2023 grant awards.
Funding for these awards comes from the annual July Arts and Craft Fair, hosted by the Pentwater Jr. Women’s Club, for over 50 years.
Purchase of a 3D printer for the Pentwater Schools Coding Classroom, helping students with understanding 3D technologies, design & simulation, application engineering, process & materials, data preparation skills, machine operation, post-processing & surface finishing, definition of quality.
Michigan Dunes Chapter of the NSDAR supporting the cleaning of headstones in the Pentwater Cemetery restoring unreadable headstones.
Pentwater Schools Humanities Department providing high-quality video equipment (Ring Lights, Green Screen, & Tripods) for student video creation. The Art Department also collaborates with elementary classes to produce multi-media pieces.
Pentwater Police Department enhancing the School Resource Officer program with personal hygiene products provided to meet individual’s need in a discreet drawstring bag. The supplies will be provided on an as needed basis assisting students, and helping to create a safe environment for help and referrals to area organizations when appropriate.
